The Jaguar C-X75 by new Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations to feature in SPECTRE

Developing Jaguar Land Rover’s successful involvement with the Bond franchise and continuing the history of appealing and modified vehicles featuring as part of the recipe for success in the Bond films, the Range Rover Sport SVR, the Land Rover Defender Big Foot, and the Jaguar C-X75 by new Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations to feature in SPECTRE, the new James Bond movie.

For the 24th James Bond adventure, the vehicles have been built by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations. This division creates a range of high performance production models, vehicle personalisation products and low volume, high value Limited Edition models for both Jaguar and Land Rover.

Alongside the Aston Martin DB10, Aston Martin being a mainstay of Bond productions, the Jaguar C-X75 will feature in a spectacular car chase sequence through Rome. The C-X75 vehicles have been built in collaboration between Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations and Williams Advanced Engineering facility in Oxfordshire, England.

The heavily modified Land Rover Defenders & Range Rover Sport SVR, the fastest and the most powerful Land Rover ever, have already been filming on location in Austria. The highly capable “Big Foots” feature bespoke suspension and enhanced body protection sitting on massive 37-inch diameter off-road tyres to tackle the extreme terrain.

John Edwards, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations, said: “This is an exciting partnership for Jaguar Land Rover and an opportunity to demonstrate the fantastic capabilities of the Special Operations team.”
